On Sunday, May 4, former Loyalsock Township Senior High School standout Nick Barone’s current college team, the Liberty Flames, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Flames’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 at 6 p.m. at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium against Virginia Tech Hokies.
