Penn College tennis players Hunter Knosky and Faith Murray have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Division III Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams. This marks a first for the program, as both athletes are recognized for their academic and athletic achievements.

To qualify for this honor, student-athletes must be sophomores or higher, maintain a GPA of at least 3.50, and participate in 70% of their team’s contests during the season.

Faith Murray, majoring in Building Automation Engineering Technology, achieved a 3.93 GPA last fall. She was also selected for the United East All-Conference Third Team this season. Murray recorded a team-high of 11 singles victories while competing in both the No. 2 and No. 3 flights. In doubles competition, she secured four victories with a record of 3-4 at the No. 1 position.

Hunter Knosky, an HVAC student with a GPA of 3.82, contributed one victory for Penn College at the No. 5 position and two wins in doubles matches.

The CSC Academic All-District Teams recognize outstanding student-athletes nationwide based on their performance both academically and athletically. These honorees will advance to consideration for the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with final selections announced on June 3 for women and June 4 for men.
