He wrote, “I had a great morning learning more about the important work Dwell Orphan Care does right here in our community and around our region. From ‘The Hope Chest’ which provides new clothing and hygiene products to children who are entering foster care to the ‘Made to Celebrate'”.

On December 8, 2025, Hamm recognized long-serving Bastress Township Supervisor John Deitrick for his decades of service: “I was humbled to present my friend and Bastress Township Supervisor John Deitrick a Citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives after serving 46 years as a Township Supervisor. Hamm’s recent posts reflect both community involvement—such as supporting organizations that assist foster children—and recognition of local public servants like Deitrick upon their retirement after extended periods of service.
