Joe Hamm, a public figure and active community member, has recently highlighted local achievements and milestones in Lycoming County through his social media posts.
On February 2, 2026, Hamm acknowledged the efforts of a local nonprofit by posting: “It was a great celebration with the American Rescue Workers-Williamsport as they unveiled their Mobile Food Pantry. Food insecurity remains a significant issue in our communities and finding ways to get food to families is important. Thank you ARW for all that you do in our”.
The following day, on February 3, 2026, Hamm recognized a half-century milestone for a faith-based institution: “What an honor to celebrate 50 years with Poco Farm Road Church in Loyalsock. We heard from 4 of the Pastors over those years who all shared amazing testimony to God’s faithfulness to His church. Thank you Poco Farm Road Church for all you do in our community, supporting missions”.
On February 4, 2026, Hamm commended athletic achievement at the local high school level: “I was honored to celebrate the Muncy Girls Soccer team on their first ever PIAA District IV Class A championship and for making it to the Final Four in the Pennsylvania State Championship this season. A new school record of 20 wins, these young ladies made our community proud!”.
American Rescue Workers-Williamsport operates programs aimed at addressing food insecurity by providing meals and pantry services throughout Lycoming County. Poco Farm Road Church has been serving its Loyalsock congregation for five decades with various outreach and mission activities.
