The game witnessed a dramatic start with Immaculata University scoring 12 runs in the first inning and an additional five in the third, setting a commanding lead of 17-0. The Wildcats managed to score five runs in the fourth inning, followed by one in both the fifth and sixth innings, and a grand slam by Adam Cornelius contributing four runs in the seventh inning. The Mighty Macs maintained their lead with two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth inning.

In terms of performance, Penn College compiled seven hits overall during the game. Bailey Grim contributed with a couple of hits, while Adam Cornelius notably delivered four RBIs for the Wildcats. Additionally, Ethan Stahl, Kevin Cute, and Logan Hinnershitz each drove in two runs.
