Rep. Jamie Flick has announced the third annual Human Services Expo and Speaker Series, set to take place on Friday, April 25, at the Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT). This free event welcomes the public.
The Speaker Series is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. at Penn’s Inn on the PCT campus, with discussions focusing on mental health and addiction issues among youth. Speakers from Lock Haven University and BLaST Intermediate Unit 17 will contribute to the dialogue on these critical topics.
The Human Services Expo will follow the Speaker Series and is slated to run from 3 to 6 p.m. at PCT’s Field House. Rep. Jamie Flick commented on the significance of the expo, stating, “It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with organizations and programs offering critical health and human services to our community. Vendors will be in attendance to share vital materials and information and to answer any questions families may have. This expo contributes positively toward ensuring residents in our community have access to necessary, often life-saving support, and where to find it.”
The expo will cover a wide range of resources addressing various needs including aging, autism, behavioral health, and more. Details about participating vendors will be released in the weeks leading up to the event.
Further inquiries about the event can be directed to Flick’s district office at 570-321-1270.
