House Republican Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe and Representative Jamie Flick will host a hearing in Lycoming County as part of the committee’s ongoing series titled “Stopping New Energy Taxes.” The event aims to examine energy policies perceived as unfavorable, which are said to impact consumers and businesses negatively while encouraging investments outside Pennsylvania.

The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, at 2 p.m. It will take place at the Penn College of Technology’s Mountain Laurel Room in Williamsport, PA. The session is expected to feature testimonies from several key figures, including Senator Gene Yaw, Joe Delmar from Cogentrix Energy, LLC, and Rod Williamson of the Industrial Energy Consumers of Pennsylvania.

“Barring any technical difficulties,” the hearing will be available for viewing online.
