Hamm and Maloney host sportsmen’s listening tour event in Hughesville

State Representative Joe Hamm and House Game & Fisheries Committee Chairman David Maloney are set to host a public meeting as part of their ongoing statewide “Sportsmen’s Listening Tour.” The event is scheduled for April 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall in Hughesville, Pennsylvania. This meeting is open to the public, with a focus on gathering input from sportsmen in northcentral Pennsylvania.

Chairman Maloney emphasized the importance of these meetings, stating, “This meeting in Hughesville is a continuation of our outreach efforts. We’re listening to Pennsylvania’s sportsmen and bringing facts.” Representative Hamm highlighted the significance of local hunting and fishing opportunities, saying, “Pennsylvania is home to world-class hunting and fishing opportunities, especially right here in Lycoming and Sullivan Counties.”

Hamm expressed his intention to represent hunters and anglers’ voices in Harrisburg. He added his gratitude towards Chairman Maloney for facilitating this platform for constituents’ feedback: “I want to thank Chairman Maloney for giving my constituents the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on these issues.”
