Penn College’s AJ Dotson and Ryan Twist have been recognized by the United East Conference for their performances in men’s lacrosse. The duo swept the league’s weekly awards, with Dotson named Offensive Player of the Week and Twist earning Defensive Player of the Week honors.

This announcement marks Dotson’s second career offensive award, while it is Twist’s first defensive accolade. It is also the first time since February 20, 2023, that Penn College has swept these weekly awards.

Dotson was instrumental in leading his team to victories against Juniata and Misericordia. The junior midfielder accumulated 11 points over two games. Against Juniata, he scored a hat-trick and assisted on three goals, placing four of his seven shots on target. In the game against Misericordia, he added two goals and three assists.

Twist played a key role defensively with 16 saves across both matches. He stopped eight shots against Juniata in just 40 minutes of play, allowing only one goal. Against Misericordia, he made another eight saves, achieving a .800 save percentage for the week.
