Last summer, McKay Campbell, a fifth-grade student at Andrew G. Curtin Intermediate, met Kevin J. Coolidge, local author of "The Totally Ninja Raccoons" series. McKay loved the books so much, he started a GoFundMe, ultimately raising $690 so that he could purchase and provide sets of the series for each of our primary and intermediate school buildings!
With the books recently delivered by McKay himself and his mission accomplished, Mr. Coolidge will now begin a mini-author tour/visit around the district for students, starting at Curtin next Tuesday evening, sponsored by our Title 1 program.
Way to go, McKay!
